The Digital Systems Department offers our clients expertise across multiple systems and disciplines focused on the digitization, automation, and overall improvement in the efficiency of plant operations and corporate processes. We leverage business application platforms, custom software development, cloud solutions, and many of a wide number of tools to provide: quality data collection, analysis, and activation; near real-time feedback systems; reliable and easy-to-use interfaces for operations on the line or in the lab; and maximally efficient, even automatic, work processes.

Job Description:

As an Application Developer, you will collaborate closely with customers by yourself or in a small team to understand business needs, translate business needs into use cases and technical requirements, provide options analysis, present viable strategies, and ultimately design and deliver well-documented solutions.

Core Technologies:

  • Microsoft Power Platform – Power Automate and Power Apps connecting to various Data Sources such as SharePoint Online Lists and Libraries, SQL Databases, and Dataverse. Staying on the cutting-edge of new and upcoming features, data connections, and best practices (Power Automate / Power Apps / Power BI / Dataverse).
  • Microsoft ASP.NET – Microsoft.NET web, on-premise, and Windows Forms applications for near real-time feedback systems and data collection, analysis, and activation. Telerik Reporting visualizations. HMI on the line and in the laboratory (VB / IIS / HTML / CSS / JavaScript / MSSQL).
  • Cloud and Custom Solutions – Microsoft.NET web, on-premise, and Windows Forms applications for near real-time feedback systems and data collection, analysis, and activation. Telerik Reporting visualizations. HMI on the line and in the laboratory (Azure Stack / App Services / Function Apps / Python / JS).
  • Database Management and Data Integration – Microsoft SQL Database. Python ODBC for Web Apps. Azure Data Factory Pipelines. Azure Databricks Notebooks. Vendor APIs for Data Integration (MSSQL / Azure Stack / Azure Data Factory / Azure Databricks / Python / Vendor APIs).
